Our booking and stay policies are designed to provide clarity, comfort, and a smooth experience for every guest visiting Jim Corbett.

By making a reservation or staying at Corbett Treat Resort, Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, guests acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions mentioned below. These policies are intended to ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for all our guests.

Important Cancellation Information

Corbett Treat Resort does not offer refunds for cancelled bookings. Guests who are unable to travel may request postponement, subject to availability and the two-month validity period described in our cancellation policy.

Booking & Reservation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Corbett Treat Resort.

A reservation is considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received and booking confirmation has been issued by the resort.

Guests are requested to provide accurate information at the time of booking, including guest names, number of guests, check-in date, check-out date, and contact details.

The room category and occupancy must correspond with the details provided at the time of booking.

Any special request, including room location, bed type, early check-in, late check-out, or specific room preference, is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed by the resort.

Payment Policy

The applicable room tariff, package price, taxes, and other charges will be communicated at the time of booking.

Payment terms may vary depending on the booking, package, season, or promotional offer.

Any outstanding balance and additional charges incurred during the stay must be settled before check-out.

The resort reserves the right to cancel an unpaid or partially paid booking where the agreed payment deadline has not been met.

Cancellation & Postponement Policy

Corbett Treat Resort does for cancelled bookings.

Once a booking has been confirmed and subsequently cancelled by the guest, the amount paid towards the booking will be non-refundable.

  • In case a guest is unable to travel on the original dates, the guest may request to postpone the stay instead of cancelling the booking.
  • The postponement request must be communicated to the resort in advance.
  • The rescheduled stay must be completed within two (2) months from the original check-in date.
  • The revised dates are subject to room availability and applicable tariff conditions.
  • The postponement is subject to confirmation by the resort.

Expiry of Postponed Booking

If the rescheduled stay is not completed within the two-month validity period, the booking will automatically expire.

The full amount paid will become non-refundable and cannot be adjusted, transferred, or utilised against any future booking.

Check-in & Check-out

Our standard check-in time is 1:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Early check-in is subject to room availability and may attract additional charges.

Late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

Guests are requested to plan their arrival accordingly.

Guests arriving late in the evening are requested to inform the resort in advance.

Guest Identification

All adult guests are required to carry a valid photo identification document and present it at the time of check-in.

Guests may be required to provide identification details in accordance with applicable government regulations.

Foreign nationals must provide the documents required under applicable Indian regulations.

Number of Guests & Occupancy

Guests are requested to bring only the members mentioned in the confirmed reservation to avoid inconvenience during check-in and stay.

Bringing additional guests without prior information may be subject to room occupancy restrictions and additional charges.

The maximum occupancy applicable to the booked room category must be followed.

Any additional guest or extra bed arrangement must be confirmed with the resort in advance.

Meal & Kitchen Timings

Guests are requested to follow the standard meal timings mentioned below for a smooth dining experience.

Dining Information

  • If a guest chooses to skip or cancel an included meal due to their travel schedule or personal reasons, the meal will remain chargeable and will not be eligible for a refund or deduction.
  • Guests arriving late in the evening are requested to inform the resort in advance.
  • For a better dining experience, guests are requested to arrive before 8:00 PM for dinner, particularly when warm food service is required.
  • Service after kitchen closing time may not be possible.

Swimming Pool Policy

Guests using the swimming pool must follow the safety instructions and pool timings communicated by the resort.

Children must be supervised by their parents or accompanying adults at all times.

Guests are required to follow appropriate swimming-pool attire and hygiene requirements.

The swimming pool may be temporarily closed due to maintenance, weather conditions, safety requirements, or operational reasons.

Guests must not engage in activities that may endanger themselves or other guests.

Jungle Safari & Outdoor Activities

Jungle safari permits, zones, vehicles, guides, timings, and availability are governed by the relevant forest authorities.

Safari availability and permits are subject to the rules and decisions of the forest department.

Wildlife sightings, including tiger sightings, cannot be guaranteed.

Safari charges, permits, vehicles, guides, and other activity charges may be additional unless specifically included in the confirmed package.

Corbett Treat Resort is not responsible for changes, cancellations, postponements, route restrictions, permit availability, or other decisions made by the forest department or other authorities.

Noise, Music & Forest Area Guidelines

Corbett Treat Resort is located in the Jim Corbett region, where guests are expected to respect the surrounding natural environment and applicable forest department and local regulations.

Guests must maintain appropriate noise levels and avoid disturbing other guests or wildlife.

Music or loud sound should not be played after 10:00 PM.

Guests must comply with all applicable forest department, local authority, and environmental guidelines.

Any penalty or liability arising from a guest's violation of applicable rules may be the responsibility of the concerned guest.

Heater Policy

Room heaters are available on request and subject to availability.

The applicable heater charge is ₹500 per day.

Guests wishing to use a heater are requested to inform the resort team.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards resort staff, other guests, and the surrounding environment.

Loud music, excessive noise, inappropriate behaviour, or activities causing inconvenience to other guests are not permitted.

Illegal activities are strictly prohibited on the resort premises.

The resort reserves the right to take appropriate action in case of serious misconduct or violation of resort rules.

Property Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or breakage caused to resort property by themselves or members of their group.

The resort may recover reasonable repair or replacement costs for damaged or lost property.

Guests are requested to report accidental damage to the resort team as soon as possible.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, cash, electronic devices, and other possessions during their stay.

Guests are advised to take reasonable precautions and use available safety facilities where provided.

The resort will not be responsible for loss or damage resulting from the guest's negligence or failure to take reasonable precautions.

Taxes & Additional Charges

Applicable government taxes and statutory charges will be charged as per prevailing regulations.

Services or facilities not included in the confirmed booking or package will be charged separately.

Any additional expenses incurred during the stay must be settled before departure.

Force Majeure

Corbett Treat Resort shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or inability to provide services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, forest department restrictions, road closures, strikes, public disturbances, epidemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.

The resort will make reasonable efforts to assist guests and provide suitable alternatives wherever possible.

Changes to Services & Facilities

Certain resort facilities or services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, weather conditions, safety requirements, government regulations, or operational reasons.

The resort reserves the right to modify, suspend, or temporarily close such facilities when necessary.

Management Rights

Corbett Treat Resort reserves the right to refuse accommodation or services where necessary for safety, security, legal, or operational reasons.

The management may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version published on the official website will apply to future bookings.

Privacy

Guest information collected during the booking and check-in process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy practices and legal requirements.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that the information provided to the resort is accurate and up to date.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation, completing the check-in process, or using the facilities and services of Corbett Treat Resort, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
